We learned about the primary colours (red, yellow and blue) then we mixed those colours to create the secondary colours (purple, orange and green) and created a colour wheel.
We also created colour tones. We started off with one colour and gradually added white to make it lighter.
In Black History Week we looked at the art of American artist Alma Thomas. We recreated her work – we think they look fab!!
We had great fun learning how to programme the Beebots!
We were very lucky to have a visit from an illustrator this term. She showed us lots of her work and taught us how to draw a mouse using different size and shape triangles.
In gymnastics we learned about different positions – pike, tuck, pencil, arch, bridge and straddle. We thought about making our bodies strong and tight.
In our outdoor learning sessions we created homes for the local wildlife, including bug hotels and places for worms and slugs to hide.
