Term 6
Year 6 is not complete without the famous (and legendary) Carroty Woods residential. As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time taking part in climbing activities; go-karting; swimming and raft building – to name just a few of the many activities Sycamore completed over the week. What a blast!
As part of ‘We are Champions Week’ Sycamore Class took part in a skateboarding lesson, learning some awesome tricks and skills. Everyone had a great time in the sun!
Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in this year’s Science Jamboree at Pfizers in Sandwich. There were lots of science based interactive activities to take part in, and everyone enjoyed themselves and represented our school so well!
Sports day is always a bit extra special for Year 6 and so it was this year. As well as taking part in lots of sports activities and races, Sycamore Class got a good soaking from the local fire brigades hose- which is now tradition at Wingham Primary School.
Sycamore Class had great fun taking part in this year’s Bikeability. They listened really well to the instructor and most children got to ride on the roads, learning how to ride safely. Well done Year 6!
