Sycamore Class had great fun completing some interesting and engaging Science activities during Science Week. In this particular activity the children were investigating which object flew best (and why?): a paper aeroplane, a paper gilder or a paper helicopter

.
During National Book Day, we had great fun dressing up and completing a week’s worth of Literacy work based on the fairy-tale: Little Red Riding Hood. The children produced some excellent alternative stories to the traditional Little Red Riding Hood tale. We also took part in a fairy-tale workshop led by a published author. What a great week we had!

Some of the children in Sycamore Class produced some excellent home learning creations and it was great to see them all so engaged in their learning focused on the Ancient Egyptians. Well done Sycamore Class.

In Art, Sycamore have created some amazing Ancient Egyptian inspired jewellery. They have used bright and vibrant colours and some fine detail to create some excellent pieces of wearable art.
