Rowan Class (Y3) Trip to Kent Life – Stone Age Day Sept 25

Rowan Class enjoyed a fantastic Stone Age themed day at Kent Life. The children took part in a carousel of lively, hands-on workshops, working in small groups as they discovered what life may have been like thousands of years ago. During the day, we explored a range of Stone Age themes, including beliefs and burials, meeting a tribe member, the change from hunters to farmers, Stone Age weapons, trading, and grinding grain. These practical activities brought our history learning to life and gave the children lots of chances to ask questions, share their ideas, and build on what they have been learning in class.
