This year has been filled with incredible achievements and milestones for Year 4. From academic excellence to creative projects, everyone has truly shined.
Enterprise Week was a great success, ending with the children designing and selling mandala stones, raising money for our end-of-term class reward.
We were lucky to go paddle boarding on the River Stour—fearless fun, unforgettable memories, and a chance to face our fears with courage.
In Literacy, we wrote our own Greek myths and sharpened our oracy skills by debating whether Persephone should remain in the underworld or return to Earth. There were some very persuasive—and heated—arguments!
We have been working really hard in maths, learning all about the properties and classifications of angles, quadrilaterals and triangles. We have also been working on our coordinates and statistics. Check out some of our coordinated pictures:
We’ve completed our Henry Moore-inspired sculptures and had fun getting messy with ModRoc. We also enjoyed a hands-on culinary experience, learning to make delicious Greek salads using fresh ingredients and traditional flavours.
In Delve, we’ve tapped into our creativity by designing our own Greek gods and creating a custom menu for a new Greek restaurant in Wingham.
