Book Week

We had a fantastic week!  A chance to celebrate all that is wonderful about books.

We were delighted to welcome Mr Taylor who gave out free books as part of the world wide charity initiative to ensure each and every child has access to books that enrich and enhance our lives, give us inspiration, extend imagination and provide invaluable learning tools.

Then on Thursday the celebrated author Anthony Browne came in to share some of his books, help us create illustrations and provide inspiration, feed  our creative processes that will hopefully enhance our own creative writing. At the same time further engage us all to be lifelong readers!

Anthony Browne then officially opened a newly refurbished library that children visit throughout the whole school on a regular basis.

Lets not forget that it was also a chance to highlight some of out favourite book characters and dress up!
