Learning together, we grow kind hearts and healthy minds

Term 6

Sycamore Class had lots of fun at Betteshanger (as part of our sports week) where we took part in completing an army style obstacle course and an orienteering activity. Using our map reading and team working skills the day was a great success. Well done Year 6!

Year 6 is not complete without the famous (and legendary) Carroty Woods residential. As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time taking part in climbing activities; geocaching; swimming and raft building- to name just a few of the many activities Sycamore completed over the week. What a blast!

As part of sports week, Year 6 also took part in learning some skate boarding skills and tricks. Everyone had an amazing time.

In order to make our performance of Matilda as good as possible- which it was- we visited London’s famous West end to watch a professional performance of the hit musical Matilda. It was fantastic, and the children really used some of the acting skills from the cast in their own performances.
